Start your days grounded, focused, connected and calm.
Doors open at 6:55am to set up and say hello and we begin our practice promptly at 7am MT.
Enjoy the power of what 15 minutes can do!
Start with 4 minutes of a pre-meditative breathing technique.
Benefits:
Calms nervous system, improves focus, brings mental clarity, regulates cortisol and blood pressure and turns your senses inward.
This is followed by a 2 minutes of visualization.
Benefits:
We are working with a kriya, which is a purification of the energy body. We mainly work with one that calls in a transformative energy and connection to truth and pure consciousness.
We then sit for 8 minutes in stillness.
Benefits:
Supports neuropasticity, cultivates equanimity, emotional resilience and intuition.
Close with a short grounding.
Benefits:
We take a moment to ground intentionally so the wisdom from our meditation can help us move through life as we get back into our body and ready for the day.
The PASSES can be used anytime class is offered throughout the month you purchased in, but can not transfers to the next month. Drop ins must be used within 2 weeks of the registration date and may take you into the next month.
This is a slow, grounded, gentle meditative flow that will release tension held in your neck, shoulders, back and hips.
Through repetition and breath awareness, the postures turn into a a moving meditation, priming our minds for our seat that will turn our attention in even more as we sit for a 10 minute meditation and then close with a sweet savasana.
This is not a typical flow, it is open to all levels and no chaturangas required. Join us and unwind from your week as you prepare your body and mind for a more easeful weekend.
“And the days go by like a strand in the wind
In the web that is my own, I begin again.”
~Stevie Nicks
Just as a single movement in a spider’s web sends vibrations through the whole structure, any shift within one layer of ourselves ripples through all the others. These layers—known as the koshas—make up our five bodies: physical, breath, mind, wisdom, and bliss.
During this time of year, when many people are setting resolutions for a better version of themselves, we will turn inward to the purity and perfection already within us. From this inner space, we can draw inspiration to call in what we truly need and follow the deep, driving desires of our heart—those that keep us aligned with who we really are. The koshas become doorways into this space of connection.
In this 6-week series, we’ll explore one kosha at a time and observe how the work in that layer influences the rest. We’ll meet each body as if for the first time, learning to become present, to pause and to treat each moment as an opportunity to begin again—opening to the infinite wisdom and unbound potential within.
No experience necessary. All levels are welcome.
Each week will begin with a chat about the kosha and then what follows will be slightly different.
There will be a blend of gentle movement, restorative postures, seated meditations, nidra and breathing techniques.
We will close the series with a sankalpa meditation which is a heartfelt commitment to live in alignment with your deepest truth.
Beginners will learn a system they can adapt week by week; experienced meditators will gain tools to deepen their practice. A private resource page will be available upon registration.
This is not a challenge.
I will support you in coming back to your seat or in helping you get started. This is the beginning of a journey that may begin again and again.
Each day, for 9 days, I will send you an email with some tips and inspiration as well as a 10 min video to guide you through a practice.
Below are the mantras we use to close our meditations in a practice called artha vatva samyama. This is grounding with intention to bring the wisdom from our practice, into our life using mantra and mudra (hand gestures).
In our Morning Meds practice, I simply bring our awareness down the body as I speak them each once, but in longer meditation practices we chant them together as they are chanted below. Both versions can be downloaded.
