Details

Sink into stillness with the support of a dreamy, immersive soundscape that will help guide your journey inward through a blend of meditation and Yoga Nidra practices. This series will follow a similar format to previous Pause Series but what makes this one uniquely special is that my husband, Gareth who is a professional musician, will be playing live acoustic music and I will be using my voice to add to the sound bath during the meditation and nidra practices.

The sound will be layered and looped to create spacious textured tones to support deep rest, release and nervous system regulation. When paired with my guidance through visualizations, mantra and open spaciousness of silence during meditation the harmonic symphony will lend way to reaching a resonant state that can go beyond the boundaries of your practice. We will also explore how the dreamy, immersive soundscape can support a nidra practice while lying down.

You can expect to open with a brief chat about the practice of the week and it's purpose, along with time to ask questions about your practice. We will then do spend a short time releasing tension through a blend of gentle movement and restorative postures. This will be followed by some form of meditation (seated with sound, guidance, visualizations, mantra or silence) or yoga nidra (a guided meditation done lying down). I will also occasionally blend the two together. There will always be some form of grounding to close.

As always, this series is open to all levels. Whether you are just starting out or have a long standing practice, you will find tips and toools to help you deepen and find more ease in your meditation.
