June 4 -25
7:15-8:15pm
This yoga practice will have resistance bands woven throughout. You'll connect with your breath and body in a slow evening flow — playing with resistance in different postures to help you open up, build strength and find more freedom and ease. We close with a short meditation and a restorative pose, because rest is part of the work.
This practice is designed with perimenopausal women in mind, though truly, you are welcome regardless of where you are on your menopause journey. I created it because peri menopause has brought on aches and pains I never saw coming — and this practice has been quietly transformative. Less pain. More strength. Better recovery. Heavier loads. All kinds of goodness.
This is a series that you are welcome to drop in online Thursday nights any time you are free.
A recording will be available for one week and sent to all who register.
Bands you'll need to get for class:
I suggest getting a 6 yard spool of TheraBand in a resistance you are comfortable with.
We will make 2 stirrup bands out of this (there will be some left over that you can make another loop I plan to use in future classes).
We will also use a mini band, one of the small loop bands. They usually come in a pack of different resistances, which I recommend!
I will send instructions with registration on how to cut and tie them. If you already have a stirrup band with hard handles, we can make that work!
Investment: $20/class
*You will need to buy your own bands.
